Draft 2, October 5, 2026. A working draft while Cravable is a test build; it will change before Cravable opens.

The short version

  • We want everyone to be able to start a crave, reserve and pick up a meal on Cravable.
  • We build to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, level AA, and we’re still working toward it.
  • If something gets in your way, email hello@cravable.ai. A person will help you reserve or order by email while we fix it.

  1. 1. What we’ve built in
  2. 2. What we know isn’t right yet
  3. 3. Get help, or tell us what’s wrong

1. What we’ve built in

  • Motion: with Reduce Motion on in your device’s settings, the intro doesn’t play by itself and home opens on its last frame, standing still; sheets and windows open and close in place instead of sliding.
  • Screen readers: buttons, sheets and the floating buttons have names (the button at the top right reads Menu, and says when something new is waiting in it). A dish’s diet and animal stamps are read as words, like Halal, the kitchen says. Lamb. Crave pictures carry the dish’s name, and an AI picture says it’s an AI illustration.
  • Never color alone: a crave’s progress line always has the count written beside it (15 of 40 reservations to make it), and status is said in words.
  • Contrast: text colors are chosen to meet WCAG’s AA contrast. Cravable’s yellow is never used for text on white.
  • Keyboard: controls show an ink focus ring as you move through them with the keyboard, and windows on a computer close with Escape.
  • Touch: the menu at the top of the screen and the buttons in the bar at the foot of home are at least 44 by 44 points. On a phone, sheets close by dragging their handle down or by tapping it.
  • The cookie notice never covers the page, so you can read before you choose.

2. What we know isn’t right yet

  • The intro on home tells a short story in words and drawings in under five seconds, then its dishes turn and its sky drifts on, with Pause to stop them; they also hold still while you’re further down the page. Its words are text a screen reader reads, but the drawings have no described version yet, and there’s no sound. Nothing in them is needed to use Cravable.
  • Some AI illustrations have only the dish’s name as their description.
  • We haven’t yet tested every flow with VoiceOver, TalkBack and a switch device. We’re doing that before Cravable opens to the public.
  • The kitchen and operator pages were built for a small group of staff and haven’t had a full review.

3. Get help, or tell us what’s wrong

Email hello@cravable.ai with Accessibility in the subject. Tell us the page and what happened, and what you use (a screen reader, zoom, voice control) if you’re comfortable sharing it. We aim to reply within 2 business days and, if a step is blocking you, help you reserve, order or change your account by email meanwhile.

You can also ask for any of our legal pages in another format, such as plain text or large print.
